In 2025, climate NGOs and funders across Europe are coming together to make our sector more transparent, accountable, and inclusive.
By signing up to PACE Index, your organisation will:
- Show leadership: Take a visible stand for equity and justice in the climate movement.
- Gain insights: Receive sector-wide data and benchmarks on diversity and inclusion.
- Strengthen your organisation: Use evidence to inform strategy, fundraising, and governance.
- Join a community: Connect with otherorganisations in sector-wide sessions where your staff can learn, share, and collaborate.
- Build credibility: Demonstrate to staff, funders, and the public that you are serious about inclusion.ther participating organisations.
What signing up involves
- Senior leaders complete the PACE Index survey (Sept–Oct 2025).
- One-to-one support from our team to guide you through the process.
- Public recognition of your organisation’s commitment.
Your organisation will:- Have its logo displayed on our website, alongside other participating organisations.
- Be named in the PACE Index report as part of the collective group (with all survey data aggregated and anonymised).
- Be recognised as a member of the PACE community of practice, connecting with peers who are also committed to equity and accountability.
- Contribute to the final framing of the PACE Index report.
What you can expect
- Introductory call: confirm participation and answer questions (please check our FAQs beforehand).
- September 15th: sign up deadline.
- September: receive the survey.
- October: complete and submit the survey by 31st October 2025.
- End of 2025: receive sector analysis, insights, and PACE Index report.
- Early 2026: PACE Index data published on website
Support you’ll receive
- Legal confidence: Our questionnaire has been designed with legal guidance to ensure compliance in Belgium, France, Germany, and The Netherlands.
- Tailored support: We’re available for calls and follow-ups to address questions or challenges.
- Ongoing engagement: Stay connected with peers and access opportunities for shared learning beyond the survey.
Eligibility
- NGOs and funders working in the European climate space.
- Based in Belgium, France, Germany, or The Netherlands.
